To steal a line from Barry Warner "I cant make this stuff up".  Tuesday night Barry Warner was not with his running partner Fred Davis, he was partnered with De Hansen.  Bless Dee!

Few times since I  have been blogging with HMW have I witness a host say something so wild, I could no longer take them seriously and it made me look at them differently.  The one that instantly comes to mind is Matt Jackson during the 2012 off season saying Vincent Jackson was better than  Andre Johnson but that's baby-food compared to what Barry was dishing out Tuesday night 2-19-2013.

Barry Warner hit me with THREE of  what I can honestly say, I had no rationale argument for.  The things  I heard could not be argued rationally.  After listening to Barry for almost 4 years, the basic journalistic principles:  who what when how why, went out the window.  Barry Went added a 6th element, NUTS.

Between the 6-8  O clock hour, I switched over to 610 and I heard Barry say, since Gavin Spittle put him on the air, the ratings and revenue were up record levels.  While this is a true statement and he could pass the polygraph test, it's misleading to an ignorant public.  I will not stroke egos, but for Barry to make a comment like that would lead people to believe he was the reason.  Basically he is asking us to accept an old, obnoxious, night time host, and is not active in socially media is the piece or major component of Sports Radio 610 record ratings and revenues?  OK

However, Barry didn't stop there. after schooling De on the NBA and Morey, they dived into Texans Draft Grades.  Barry tried to convince De, the Texans drafted well because some of their picks are in still in the league.  He proceeded to tell De the number of Texans Draft Picks that are still in the league and meanwhile I was thinking, is this a joke.  Now we are judging Texans talent based upon their contributions elsewhere?  I could not believe what I was hearing but Barry was dead serious.  At this point, I wanted to call and tell Barry "you're correct and the Oilers front office deserves praise for Steve Largent, I mean after all, they drafted Steve".  HUH?  Is that where we are now in this city, giving our home team credit for players on other teams we drafted and lost via cut, trade etc?

If you are confused , basically Barry Warner said the Texans drafted well because their draft picks were still in the league playing for other teams.  There is no debate or argument for this time type of logic.  I mean the Texans did draft David Carr,  and he's still in the league with a Super Bowl, Barry Warner may be on to something.

Do you think Barry stopped there?  In the 9 O Clock, Barry said the one thing he did not like about Texas A & M football, Sumlin did not thank A&M former coach  Mike Sherman for the team he inherited.   It was at this point I felt the joke was on me and went to bed.

There you have it, Barry Warner's THREE COMMENTS.  No need for a "Wrap it Up" section when  Barry's  thought process is something I can't wrap my mind over.  This post will be revisited, trust me.  For now, I wanted the other members of the media to read this for themselves.
