What I like about Josh Innes is what I hate. He has the ability to push the envelope to far when it comes to sensitive topics such ass: sex, race, religion and oh yeah 9/11. We all know Josh knows radio and "the GAME" but when you make comments about 9/11, it's just too early.
I wanted to provide this audio in it's entirety so it wouldn't be taking out of context and become a mythical blast Josh urban legend. But hell, even in context, you cannot compare Gavin Spittle leaving to 9/11.
What was interesting in this two minutes of audio, Rich knew Josh was burying himself as he continued to dig in deeper. This is nothing more than maturity vs immaturity. Subjects like Hitler, Holocaust, HIV, Rape and 9/11, you have walk the line.
Rich Lord obviously knew the backlash of such a comment, but I think it flew across Josh's head. I am not easily offended and I like to think I know satire/sarcasm but you can't go "jokes" with 9/11 12 years removed from the event.
I do not believe the comments were offensive but it was tacky but with Josh just like in his early days of Hurricane Ike to Katrina comparisons, just give him some rope and he will do the rest.
